What is the release date of Vinland Saga Season 2

Wit Studio on July 7, 2021, announced that Vinland Saga is getting a season 2. It was confirmed by Shuhei Yabuta via his Twitter account. Shuhei Yabuta will be returning as director, with the character designer Takahiko Abiru.No other cast was confirmed but the crew would be mostly the old ones with some minor changes.u003cbru003eThe release date is not finalized as the anime is in production. So, we should expect an announcement date in late 2022. According to a report from @AnimeHypeYT on Twitter, the second season will be moving its production from WIT Studio (seen in the first season) to the highly popular and extremely busy studio at MAPPA. But take it with a grain of salt, of course.

Instead of reading the comments, I highly recommend you to read the manga bro (or sis)!!! The character development is crazy. This manga (and anime) is one of the best ever, and I’m not glorify it. It really is a good story.

Do not be discouraged by people arguing the first arc is the only good arc unless you’re looking for pure sensless/useless violence. Sure revenge is important in some way but the story was never about revenge, it’s vinland saga not Thorfinn’s revenge. If you’re looking to learn something that will really make you think and heavily relate to characters this is your manga but if you’re looking for senseless violence only read untill chapter 54.

The reason I scored this series so high is because of Thorfinn. Thorfinn’s development throughout the series is captivating to read. Also, the art style really depicts what everything looked like in the era where Vikings thrived from the smaller things such as the clothes to the entire landscaping of the backgrounds. Another thing that engrossed me into this manga is the interfamilial relationships the characters had and the responsibilities that they had to bear because of them, I don’t know why but that really is a selling point for me when it comes to manga. Please check it out.

About Vinland Saga
